We start with the Sacred Valley of the Incas: the archaeological center of Pisac and its artisan market, followed by a country lunch with local cuisine.
In the afternoon, we walk through the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo and board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes, where the guide gives a briefing for the next day's visit.
After breakfast, we take the bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu for a guided 2–3 hour visit through the temples, astronomical sectors and the engineering that defies time.
We return to Aguas Calientes and, in the afternoon, board the return train to Ollantaytambo, with transport to your hotel in Cusco.
Guided tour of the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the archaeological complexes nearby: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.
We close with a full view of the capital of the Inca Empire before the end of our services.
