Day 1. PISAC – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES
Archeological site of Pisac
The archaeological site of Pisac, sits on top of a mountain from where it dominates much of the Sacred Valley. This wonderful place is formed by groups of platforms and architectural structures scattered on the slopes. Pisac is one of the most beautiful valley centers containing monuments, as it combines the landscape with the finish of its buildings.
Archeological site of Ollantaytambo
The fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo was built to control the entrance to this part of the Valley, protecting it from possible invasions of the inhabitants of the jungle. We will have the opportunity to walk through the streets of the village and thus having a clear idea of how was this military, religious and cultural center during the Inca Empire.
Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes
Ollantaytambo, place where we will board the train toward Aguas Calientes. All the way you will see beautiful and natural landscape with fields of crops, mountains and snow-capped peaks.
Day 2.- AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO
After our breakfast in the Hotel, we will board the bus towards the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, approximately in 30 minutes we will arrive to the Archaeological complex introducing the enigmatic beauty and unparalleled displays of perfectly architectural & hydraulics of the Inca culture, where we will have a visit guided that explain the historical legacy regarding one of the seven wonders of the modern World and will give a broad and concise description of this stunning appeal. then we will descend by bus to the village of Aguas Calientes, in the afternoon we will Board the train toward Ollantaytambo, place where we will take a bus back to Cusco.
